Please be advised that it is imperative to consult with your healthcare provider or physician, before initiating any treatment involving fenbendazole. While the following recommendations outline general guidelines for the usage of fenbendazole, individual health conditions, medical history, and potential drug interactions may necessitate personalized medical advice. Your doctor can assess your unique health profile and provide tailored recommendations to ensure the safety and efficiency of any treatment plan. Please prioritize this consultation before proceeding with any medication regimen.
General instructions for fenbendazole treatment:
- Patients under 46 lb, children under 2, pregnant women are not advised to take fenbendazole.
- Patients 46-198 lb: Take one 222 mg capsule daily after a meal for six consecutive days, then skip one day (Sunday). Repeat weekly.
- Patients over 198 lb: Take two 222 mg capsules or one 444 mg capsule daily after a meal for six days, then skip one day (Sunday). Repeat weekly.
For better absorption, take fenbendazole with or after a meal. It can be mixed with food or taken as a capsule during a meal.
Regular check-ups every 1-3 months are recommended to monitor treatment efficiency and liver function. Discontinue treatment if AST/ALT liver enzyme levels exceed 2-3 times the norm. To protect liver health, consider taking breaks or supplements like milk thistle.
Results may take 1-4 months to appear. Fenbendazole is generally safe with chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. Continue the regimen even if the cancer regresses to prevent recurrence.
